The Mitt Romney Problem

The 2012 election is approaching us quickly and the Republicans are left with few decisions on who their candidate will be to go against President Obama in a few short months. Potential candidates have been knocked down left and right, from wacky religious Santorum to Pizza CEO Herman Cain. The 2012 election has brought the oddest group of Republicans to face off in quite a few years, and Republicans themselves are finding it hard to stomach Mitt as their potential candidate. Mitt has always been the "2nd choice candidate". People have been looking for an alternative since the race for Republican presidential candidate has begun. Former Governor Romney has less than a 50% approval rating amongst voters, at an all time low of 35%. This low approval rating along with Mitt Romney's past and previous initiatives will leave him a sitting duck for Obama to pick off. One of the things hanging over Romney's campaign is how he left his dog on the top of his car during a road trip. Frightened to death the dog pooped himself and Romney sprayed him with a hose and stuck him back in the cage. Mitt's problems don't just bar over his personal life, but also his political one. Mitt was credited by President Obama for his work with the healthcare law passed in Michigan that Republican pundits have pointed out, is almost the exact as President Obama's healthcare law or "Obama Care". The law harshly and blindly attacked by Republicans for being a Socialist one that would "Kill Americans". Mitt was never the Republican party's first choice and doesn't look like their current one. When November rolls around, and Republicans still aren't happy with their candidate, it will show in the polls.
