The Weinergate Distraction

As you might have heard from the media making this story huge for no reason. Rep. Anthony Weiner has been involved in a "scandal" were a supposed picture of Rep. Weiner's crotch was sent to a 21 year old college student. This came about from one of the Tea Party leaders Andrew Breitbart, when he published a photo of the supposed Anthony Weiner's crotch area. He said he received the supposed photo from another Conservative who was following Rep. Weiner's Twitter account for some time. The suspected source of the photo said it was sent to the 21 year old but the 21 year old said she has had no prior communication and he was just "following" her on Twitter. Rep. Weiner responded saying his Twitter account was hacked and  was just a prank. The photo was immediately deleted, but not before Andrew Breitbart could get it out to his Tea Party drones and the media. He went on CNN making allegations that Rep. Weiner follows several young girls and has contact with them. This all from a man who has several times in the past been found falsifying information over and over. These allegations come at a time when the Republicans Medicare plan is at a tipping point towards destruction, and the Debt Limit raising. It also comes at the peak when Rep. Weiners career is at a high point, now a prominent figure in the Progressive movement these false attacks on him are a showing of the Republican lie machine. These allegations come with no factual evidence to support them, and are a deliberate distraction to turn the media away from the Republican's true agenda.
