Republican Medicare Plan Broken Down

Introduced by Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.), the bill would strip all Americans 55 and younger of their right to Medicare. Something they have been paying into their whole lives, knowing it would be their to help them when they became 65 years of age. The bill would allow senior citizens 65+ to keep the same benefits of Medicare. The bill would essentially destroy Medicare and privatize it, giving that person a voucher of $15k to go out and shop with healthcare companies. There are some lingering questions: What healthcare company wants a senior citizen? What % of senior citizens don't have preexisting conditions? And would this cost senior citizens money? First of all I cant find a healthcare company that wants to take in a senior citizen, never mind that a huge majority of them in their 65 years have had some preexisting condition. The Republican plan would take up to $7k out of senior citizens pockets(CBO estimate), either forcing them to work into old age leaving less jobs for the rest of Americans, or leaving their children, who in this tough time probably might be having financial hardships themselves to pay for their parents, most likely going into some form of debt. Republicans abolishing Medicare comes at the same time they want to lower taxes on the rich and corporations. And we must remember that all Republicans except 5 voted for this plan and all Democrats voted against it, making you realize who is actually for the seniors and their families. The Republican Medicare plan is a plan that destroys Medicare, makes seniors pay up to $7k more a year and gives to the rich while destroying the middle and lower class. That... that is class warfare.
